Sunscreen brand Sol de Janeiro started a campaign in which they had over 200 tattoo artists trained by doctors to recognize signs of skin cancer.  Another 250 tattoo artists signed up for the online course offered by Sol de Janeiro. Altogether 450 tattoo artists with an average of 6 clients a day are checking 18,900 people for skin cancer every week. Some tattoo artists already helped their clients to identify early signs of skin cancer.
