A Repurpose schoolbag is a South African schoolbag-design made from recycled durable waterproof textile, and charges up during the day with added on solar panels. The sun energy transforms into light so that children can study once they get home. Many schoolchildren in South Africa begin their walk to school in the early morning while it’s still dark. The bag’s can charge up enough energy to prove 12 hours of (reading) light. Plastic pollution as well as kerosene lanterns and unlit roads pose a serious threat to children in Africa. The schoolbags have great multiple purposes and are distributed to children in need.
