12-year-old Shubham Banerjee has a unique understanding of technology’s power to create a positive change in the world. As 90% of the visually impaired people live in developing countries Shubham wanted to reduce the costs of the braille printer.
He used his Lego Mindstorm EV3 kit and a few bucks worth of hardware to create a working braille printer. His version costs only a fraction of what you would pay for a similar gadget. Shubham calls his invention the Braigo.
