Project Description

Cows produce up to 25% of methane emissions, which adds up a serious amount to global warming. To turn the methane gas coming from cows into something good, Argentina’s National Institute of Agricultural Technology, created backpacks for cows that extracts the gas (about 300 liters per day) which is enough to run a car or a fridge for 24 hours. The project isn’t ongoing but shows that it’s possible to collect methane and use it for energy. Let’s support it and make it reality.
