Over the past few years Uganda has made huge strides in its attempt at expanding its agriculture processing facilities. The idea is to boost economic growth and the value of the existing farmland. On the flipside the agriculture boost also comes with a fair amount of ecological backlash. Dr. Kyambadde developed a project to recycle the byproducts of the agriculture industry and turn them into a source of self-sustaining and clean power, creating between 10 and 25 cubic meters of gas per day per factory. The recycling process itself relies on solar panels.
